BLOSM (Basic Learning of Stock Market) is a short-term introductory course designed to empower school students with a foundational knowledge of the stock market. Through simple, engaging lessons, it nurtures financial awareness and builds early confidence in understanding market dynamics.

This level introduces foundational financial concepts like budgeting, saving, and understanding the evolution of capital markets. Students will learn essential topics such as needs vs. wants, income, assets, liabilities, and basic budgeting techniques, laying a strong foundation for financial literacy.
Building on BLOSM I, this level explores the time value of money, interest, inflation, and the basics of investment. Students will also learn about different financial assets, including equity, bonds, mutual funds, and insurance, preparing them for more advanced financial concepts.
BLOSM III is specifically designed for junior college students, providing them with early exposure to financial concepts. BLOSM III is a comprehensive, 15-hour program meticulously designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of the stock market. The program provides a perfect blend of theoretical insights and practical hands-on experiences, enabling participants to understand key concepts and explore opportunities in the evolving financial market.

Curriculum

Students from Grade 6 to Grade 12 can enroll. The course is divided into three levels – BLOSM I (Grades 6–8), BLOSM II (Grades 9–10), and BLOSM III (Grades 11–12) – tailored to suit the learning needs of each age group.

Each level of the BLOSM program consists of 15 hours of engaging and interactive sessions, designed to be delivered in a flexible and student-friendly manner.

The course is offered in online, offline, and blended modes, ensuring flexibility for schools and learners across India.

BLOSM uses visually rich, interactive PowerPoint presentations, real-life examples, activities, and discussions to make financial concepts simple and relatable for school students.

No prior knowledge is necessary. BLOSM is designed to introduce concepts from the ground up, starting with the basics and gradually progressing to more advanced topics at higher grade levels.
